Looking for an eggcellent meal this Easter Sunday? Perhaps some eggstraordinary crepes? An eggsquisite omelette? Okay, I’ll stop, but San Joaquin really does have you covered! Whether it’s a French toast bar, a savory slice of prime rib, or a heaping plate of chicken cacciatore— you can find eggsactly what you’re looking for at these ten restaurants. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. I guess I’m just a crack up.
Midtown Creperie (Stockton)
Build-your-own crepes. Need I say more? Well, I will— because Midtown Creperie is going beyond crepes for their Easter brunch. In addition to DIY stations (one for savory, one for sweet), they’re offering an omelette and scramble station, smoked ham carving station, Belgian waffles, savory sides, beignets, and (of course) drinks. Reservations only!
Market Tavern (Stockton)
Market Tavern in Stockton’s Lincoln Center will be open for their usual Sunday hours, featuring their oh-so-indulgent brunch menu and a few added Easter specials. Be sure to order the “Smoked Pig” Bloody Mary, which comes topped with Applewood bacon, a cheese-stuffed fried olive, pickled vegetable, and half a pickled egg. The pickled egg totally makes it Easter-approved.
Mile Wine Company (Stockton)
Stop into Mile Wine between 10 AM and 2 PM. for a truly unforgettable Easter meal. This three-course brunch offers options such as asparagus soup with a lemon crème fraiche, pan-roasted salmon, and herb-crusted leg of lamb. I don’t know about you, but the mid-morning egg hunt just became a lot less appealing.
Bella Vista (Stockton)
Feeling Tuscan this Easter? Head to Bella Vista, from 10 AM-3 PM for a brunch buffet packed to the brim. The new Italian hotspot will host multiple stations featuring omelettes, freshly carved meats, danishes and desserts, fruit and salad, and last but certainly not least, a hot entrée station with authentic Tuscan favorites guaranteed to provide una buona Pasqua!
Fenix (Lodi)
Gear up for those Easter festivities with tasty plates such as eggs Florentine and bananas foster French toast at Lodi’s Fenix. Included in the entrée prices are freshly-baked pastry platters, housemade jam, unlimited soft-drinks and coffee, and bottomless mimosas. Yes, bottomless mimosas. (That may just gear you up better than anything.)
University Plaza Waterfront Hotel (Stockton)
Elevate your Easter with a big, bold breakfast spread complete with house smoked salmon and prime rib, enjoyed at the beautiful University Plaza Waterfront Hotel in downtown Stockton! You’ve got not one—but two—brunch options at the ever-beautiful Wine & Roses this Sunday. The annual Easter brunch will be held in the Garden Ballroom, with only one seating time at noon, and will feature not only a delectable meal, but also a visit from the Easter Bunny himself! Additionally, Towne House Restaurant will host their usual Sunday brunch— which is both extensive and delicious.
Dancing Fox (Lodi)
Trot on over to The Dancing Fox for an Easter Brunch that is sure to satisfy. On top of their normal Sunday brunch—which features a full omelette bar—The Dancing Fox will be rolling out some extra goodness, with added Italian and Mexican flavors that will spice up your Easter Sunday!
Midgley’s (Stockton)
Prime rib. Pan-seared halibut. All day. That’s right, Midgley’s in Lincoln center will be serving their delicious dinner menu throughout the day, Sunday (11:30 AM- 9 PM)! Want to stay more in theme with Easter and opt for eggs? Fret not! Midgley’s will also be serving up some dynamite eggs benedict until 2 PM.
