Build-Your-Own Brunch Board

Brunch. It’s our favorite part of the weekend and the last hurrah before the work week hustle rears its head again. Whether you are gathering with family, brunching with girlfriends, or hosting a baby shower, we’ve got the details on how to shake things up! Forgo the traditional formal brunch in favor of this simple yet luxurious brunch board. To do it right, gather some of your favorite pastry items from one of our local bakeries and layer them on to one, BIG cheeseboard. From there, the options are limitless to finish out this beautiful work of art. When you’re finished, pour yourself a mimosa, whip up a bloody Mary, or even pop a bottle of rosé champagne! Bring on the ultimate brunch board!

Step 1: Pick out a board, cookie sheet, or even a serving tray to build your brunch board.

Step 2: Head to your favorite local bakery and bring home some goodies.

Step 3: Build up your board. We like to start by laying out the starch components first (bagels, croissants, and muffins).

Step 4: Layer your protein. Think hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, bacon, sausage, or even breakfast cheeses like a baby brie.

Step 5: Add condiments in small bowls. Cream cheese for breads, capers for the smoked salmon, local jams, and honey.

Step 6: Add seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables. Our summer staples include strawberries, cherries, crispy cucumbers, and crunchy radishes.
