Caffeine Craze Continued

In case you haven’t found your perfect spot for a cuppa joe, a couple of hot new coffee shops are on the scene. From mobile coffee trucks to pastry packed brick and mortars, these new kids on the block know how to capitalize on our need for caffeine!

  • Located on Hammer Lane in Stockton, Scooter’s Coffee pours a strong cup. Their menu stands out for the seasonal specialty drinks with a unique twist and you simply can’t beat the convenience of a drive thru. Craving something sweet? Opt for the gooey cinnamon roll to go with your beverage of choice.
  • Grinding Grounds is a mobile coffee shop to help you caffeinate on the go. With an extensive menu of coffees, teas, smoothies, and pastries, there is something for everyone in the family. Follow them on social media to see where they pop up!

Dessert Wine for Lovers

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, you might want to stock up on dessert wine to uncork with that special someone. Harney Lane Winery’s Lizzy James Port NV is one of our favorites. For $35, you can sip on this juice while devouring a warm chocolate molten lava cake. Or grab a bottle of Macchia’s Dangerous 2017 Port ($26), to sip fireside with a platter of chocolate-covered strawberries. If sweets aren’t your thing, consider a cheese platter for dessert and pair it with Peltier’s USB Red NV ($25). The smoky notes are perfect for a wedge of blue cheese topped with fig jam.

Date Night Cocktail

If you are looking for a spot to enjoy a cocktail with the one you love, step into Rosewood Bar and Grill. For a post dinner drink that will help you stay woke, opt for the Espresso martini. A smooth and flavorful cocktail made with vanilla vodka, Frangelico, Kahlua, and espresso. Come see what the buzz is all about!
