November 6-8

The annual Sandhill Crane migrations predate Lodi’s existence. As they descend upon the Delta wetlands, birdwatchers and other spectators gather at Lodi area wildlife refuges and farmlands to experience first hand one of nature’s spectacles. In partnership with the city of Lodi, the Sandhill Crane Festival celebrates the wondrous event for the 19th time with an art show—featuring watercolors, oils, etchings, sculptures, other fine art and photographs—as well as an award ceremony and origami crane craft activity.

House of Floyd is bringing their Pink Floyd Tribute Show to the Bob Hope Theater. The live musical experience and laser light show has packed sold out houses throughout the U.S. in this “Pink Floyd Concert Experience” featuring special effects, backscreen and laser lighting. This live Pink Floyd concert recreation highlights the greatest and most popular music of their career, including “Dark Side of the Moon,” “The Wall” and “Wish You Were Here.”

Stockton Heat-Hot Pink

November 6-7

The Stockton Heat will go pink for a signature event that raises awareness for breast cancer, as well as brings in funds for St. Joseph’s Foundation’s breast health services. For two days, the hockey team will don pink jerseys and auction them off after Saturday’s game, and for the whole weekend, the ice will be pink.

Community Philanthropy Summit at Hutchins Square Street

From 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Hutchins Street Square will host an all-day conference focused on a wide variety of topics of interest to professional advisors, nonprofit executives, board members, donors and others involved in charitable giving. Philanthropically minded people will have the opportunity meet and converse on the topics they are passionate about, and CPAs and attorneys will be able to earn continuing education credits.

Stockton Symphony Presents “Classics II: Copland, Dukas and Berlioz”

The eclectic The Classics series continues with Copland, Dukas and Berlioz. At the Stockton Symphony, a world of fantasy is brought to life through the hoe-down spirit of Copland’s Four Dance Episodes from Rodeo the Sorcerer’s Apprentice by Dukas, to the epic love story presented through Berlioz: Symphonie Fantastique. “This knockout program showcases our Stockton Symphony in a big way,” Maestro Jaffe says, “The music is larger than life.”

The Robert Cabral Agricultural Center will host an “Inner Safari” – a joyful day to relax, retool and renew – for Celebrate Caregivers 2015. It may not look like the holidays, but the Chamber has started planning for the 20th Annual Lodi Parade of Lights. The event will start with a step off at 6:17 pm in Downtown Lodi. After reviewing all the wonderful theme suggestions we received, the judges agreed that this year the Lodi Parade of Lights would have a “Down Home Christmas” theme.

Delta Reflections Lighted Boat Parade & Cruise Dinner
