Patricia Hoffman of Lodi has understood the thoughtfulness of custom gifting from a very young age. Her grandmother, Clara, was a seamstress and taught Hoffman how to make doll clothes as gifts for her friends. Patricia’s love for sewing stayed with her as she grew, even inspiring her to design her very own wedding dress!
Years later, she passed her passion to her children as she integrated sewing into their home schooling curriculum. It wasn’t until 1995 that Hoffman realized she might be on to something. Yes, she created gifts for friends and family but never really considered selling to the public until receiving strong encouragement from friends. She wondered how she would begin a project like that; “Just start!” her friends excitedly said.

The designs can be custom-made, coordinated and lettered upon request! Pat’s collections include aprons for men, women and children, oven and wrap around mitts, and potholders in a variety of coordinating patterns and colors. Pat layers her potholders and mitts with six layers of insulation called inful-cright, a material that reflects hot and cold, making it a quality gift for any cook in the kitchen!
