Shopping for Mom at Nothing Bundt Cakes
When it comes to shopping for mom on Mother’s Day, it can get a little overwhelming. How do you choose something that perfectly expresses just how much you love her? Well, if your mom has a sweet tooth, how about a delicious (and adorably decorated) bundt cake?
While no one ever really needs an excuse to indulge in some cake, Nothing Bundt Cakes does offer decorated cakes for just about any occasion – and then some! But for your Mother’s Day cake needs, they have something special in mind.
“Our ‘Best Mom A’Round’ decoration that fits on top of the bundt cake is one of our more elegant decorations,” says Mike Robinson, owner of Stockton’s Nothing Bundt Cakes. Topped with a beautiful purple bow, plus delicate flower and butterfly decorations, it’s a sweet treat and gesture that your mom will be sure to love. “It just speaks to moms,” adds Mike. Choose from an eight-inch, ten-inch, or tiered cake, and then select a flavor. You can’t go wrong with a classic like chocolate, but their limited time strawberries and cream flavor is sure to wow!
“It’s a fun product, it’s cake,” Mike says succinctly. “Not many people don’t like cake!”
Nothing Bundt Cakes has been a staple of Lincoln Center for some time now, attracting people from all over the county hankering for one of these melt-in-your-mouth cakes, made with real eggs, butter, and cream cheese. And isn’t it only right to gift mom with something that’s almost as perfect as she is?
This adorable and supremely scrumptious gift idea is possible thanks to Mike Robinson, who brought the Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise to Stockton in 2014. After two years of retirement, his wife suggested that he go out and find something to do with his newfound free time.
“She figured I would go coach youth hockey or maybe do some consulting. Nope,” he declares. “Opening a bakery seemed like the right thing to do.”
And luckily for Stocktonians, Lincoln Center seemed like the right place to open it. Since then, the cakes, which come in four sizes (eight inch, ten inch, bundtlet, and bundtini) and ten different delicious flavors, have continued to be quite the crowd pleasing hits.
“Mother’s Day is also a family day,” notes Mike. “People gather around mom to say thanks and give their love. Why not enjoy an amazing bundt cake after dinner?”
