A Grown-Up’s Guide to Wine & Halloween Candy

By Suzanne Ledbetter

Over the next month you will be bombarded with Halloween candy.
Your kids will bring home bags of skittles, your office will have bowls of snickers bars lying around for weeks and you might even stash a few of your favorites away in a drawer so no one else gets them. But, seriously, October is all about the sweet morsels passed out on Halloween!

What if I told you we could have a little fun with this year’s candy by pairing it with wine? Below you will find a grown-up’s guide to enjoying Halloween candy while sipping wine when the kids turn in for the night. Or, better yet, plan a party with some girlfriends and decide which wine and candy make your winning combination. I’m certainly not endorsing you indulge in a bowl of candy in an evening, but if you are sipping and snacking, you might as well make the most of it!
