The most important aspect, says Diggs, is to reflect the customer’s ultimate goal while also meeting their budget.
For Mel and Laurie Pate, Paradise Designs surpassed their wildest dreams and transformed their completely empty backyard into a Tahitian oasis, complete with natural gas lit torches, a salt water pool, slide, hot tub, pond, artificial grass, palm trees and underground irrigation, among much more. What began as only an idea and a few tiki torches became the Pate’s own paradise. When the project started, “There was nothing but dirt from fence to fence. Now it’s really something special, just amazing. We had an idea, and Larry made it better,” explains Mel. “When you walk into my backyard, especially at night, it feels like you’re in the tropics. It’s unbelievable!”
