When the leaves start to fall and the colors of the trees turn from green to orange, it is time for autumn. The beginning of fall means the Pumpkin season is now upon us, and it is time to celebrate Manteca’s Annual Pumpkin Fair in the city’s beautiful downtown. The fair is free to attend and is sponsored by the City of Manteca and the Sunrise Kiwanis, along with other members of the business community. Each year, the fair attracts more than 50,000 visitors. The event is fun and exciting for all ages. Get excited for the season and help celebrate the harvest by attending the fair’s haunted house, one of the event’s most popular and chilling activities. The fair will include a carnival, complete with rides, games, music and crafts. Visit the selection of more than 150 booths including food vendors with the finest pumpkin inspired flavors and recipes, and check out the entertainment on one of the event’s stages. But don’t stop there!Grab a pumpkin or attend one of the fair’s many pumpkin events. Take photos with the family or visit the kid zones, or take a look at the Pumpkin Fair’s Car Show. Most importantly, enjoy the seasonal best of Manteca at a minimal cost as you stroll through the fair and shop, eat, and drink.
