Known for its collection of American and English-style dishes, The Dancing Fox in Lodi serves up salad with a sizzle. This Southwestern dish features fresh citrus-marinated black beans and corn, tomatoes and avocado on a bed of baby greens and romaine hearts, finished with a drizzle of chipotle ranch, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese and tri-color corn chips. Guests can turn up the heat on this crunchy creation with a helping of salsa, available upon request. If your appetite warrants a little more, top it off with chicken, for an extra fee. This mouthwatering treat is available from 11 AM to 5 PM.
It’s hard to consider a meal at The Dancing Fox complete without a glass of vino. Light, white wines give a semblance of summer in the middle of winter when paired with a salad. So reach for a glass—or a bottle—of Chardonnay, Fire Dance, Chenin Blanc or Muscato. If wine won’t hit the spot, order a brew. The Dancing Fox rotates beers on tap, and sells a sampler of 4 oz. pours.
