Become part of a culinary adventure with Wine and Roses’ second annual Farm to Fork Tour at Golden Bear Ranches in Lodi Saturday, June 13. Golden Bear Ranches produce delicious, quality, organic produce that is shipped throughout the United States, and featured in many local restaurants, as well Wine & Roses very own Towne House Restaurant.
The event includes a tour of the farm, with a focus on fruits of the season, like peaches, nectarines, plums and apricots. Following the tour, attendees will return to Wine & Roses for a demonstration class with Chef John. “The idea is to get people to learn something; they get to eat something, and drink something, and they get to take something home,” says Chef John. “Classes are meant to be fun, engaging, and informative. I want to share the joy of cooking and the many possibilities there are in the kitchen with fresh ingredients and simple technique.”
