Concerts In The Park  June 3, 10, 17, 24

Stockton’s Victory Park summer concert series is back for its 63rd annual season with an impressive line-up of live music from all genres to keep you entertained during those cool summer nights on the Delta. The free 12-week concert series will kick off every Wednesday in June, from 6-8 p.m. and typically attracts more than 12,000 people. Theresa Caputo LIVE! Experience at the Stockton Arena   June 4

Star of the hit TLC show, Long Island Medium, will visit the Stockton Arena for an interactive show, including personal readings for audience members (not guaranteed). Critter Corral at the San Joaquin County Historical Museum at Micke Grove Regional Park  June 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21

Every weekend from May-August, the San Joaquin County Historical Museum offers people of all ages a chance to visit and pet a variety of farm animals of all shapes and sizes. The experience is free with regular admission to the Park, which also includes eight exhibitions buildings, a Sunshine Trail, hands-on activities and plenty of history to learn about our county.  42nd Annual Temple Israel Jewish Food Fair and Festival   June 7

The Temple Israel invites San Joaquinians to celebrate more than 150 years of heritage in the Stockton community at the 42nd annual festival of food and culture. The family-fun event offers visitors a tasty brunch, complete with bagels and lox or a corned beef sandwich, and a chance to browse the Jewish deli and bakery for take-home treats. San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) 50th Anniversary Celebration   June 6

RTD will celebrate 50 years of service with a free-to-the-public event in Stockton. The family-friendly event will feature and exhibit of RTD Buses, a Children’s Museum Bus, historical photo exhibit, souvenir posters and t-shirts, delicious local food, and local musicians like the Mike Torres Band, Snap Jackson and the Knock on Wood Players, Valley Community Orchestra, Hiva Nui Dancers, Pan Afrakan Dance & Music Historical Education Association. This traveling exhibition of photos from SFMOMA’s collection reveals a distinctively rich and diverse tradition of photography in Mexico. When the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art closed its doors in June of 2013 to undergo a three-year expansion project, “SFMOMA On the Go” was launched. The unprecedented program is aimed at presenting exhibits throughout California while the Museum’s expansion is under way.  Photography in Mexico is part of a statewide tour drawn from SFMOMA’s internationally acclaimed photography collection. Since 2013, Photography in Mexico has traveled to the Bakersfield Museum of Art and the Sonoma County Museum. The Haggin Museum is the tour’s final venue. The Haggin Museum, 1201 N. 2015 Juneteenth Annual Citywide Festival June 20

This year’s 40th Annual Juneteenth celebration will focus on the theme: strengthening our family and our community. The Juneteenth festival is the oldest known celebration commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, which made slavery unconstitutional in the US. The event is free to all ages, ethnicities and nationalities in an effort toward collaboration. There will also be entertainment and education through cultural and historical displays.
